Molly Doreen and Mathew Eldon Finch were born on October 9th, 2004 and became the third generation of patients of Dr. Pauline Bragaglia, family practitioner with the Algoma District Medical Group (ADMG) at the Group Health Centre (GHC)!

"I've been a patient of Dr. Bragaglia since I was 18 months old!" says Molly and Matthew's mom, Amy Finch.

"What a journey it has been!" Amy says. "In June of 2004, I found out I was having twins!"

"Dr. Patricia Zehr, obstetrician and gynaecologist with the ADMG, who was taking care of me was going to be away for part of my pregnancy.

Dr. Mander, her replacement, provided excellent care as did Juli Briglio,GHC Nurse Practitioner, who was wonderful and answered all of my questions and treated me great.

"Dr. Zehr was back and she performed a C-section. On October 9th I went into labour and had my two beautiful babies. We received excellent care at the hospital during our stay.

"When it was time for Molly and Matthew's 'two-month' needle, GHC Nurse Practitioner Kathy Rowe, took care of the babies.

"When it was time for the babies 'four-month' needle, Dr. Bragaglia noticed that Mathew had a bit of a breathing problem and she referred him to Dr. David Burrows, who is a paediatrician with the ADMG and also Dr. Mark Korman, an ear, nose and throat specialist from Toronto who visits once a month to see local patients. Dr. Korman feels Mathew will continue to outgrow this problem, but will continue to monitor it.

"Molly and Mathew are six months old, healthy and very active. Our next visit to the Group Health Centre will be for the twin's six and nine months needles!"
